Hoopfall

Privacy Policy

Effective: September 14, 2026

This policy explains how the Hoopfall iPhone game ("Hoopfall", "we", "us") handles information. Hoopfall is built by Pidugu, an independent software studio, and is distributed through the Apple App Store.

The short version: Hoopfall has no accounts and we never see your name or email. Your coins, balls, courts and scores are saved on your device. The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may use a device identifier to show and measure those ads, only as your iPhone's privacy settings allow.

Stored on your device only

  • Your coins, unlocked balls and courts, and booster inventory.
  • Your best score, recent scores, daily missions, daily reward streak and any game in progress.
  • Your Sound and Haptics settings.

This information stays in the app's private storage on your iPhone. We cannot see it, and deleting the app removes it.

Advertising

Hoopfall shows banner, full-screen and optional "watch to continue" video ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's software may collect:

  • Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
  • Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown or tapped.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Performance and diagnostic data about how ads load.

If you choose Ask App Not to Track, Google cannot use your advertising identifier and you will see ads that are less personalised. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, Hoopfall asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Purchases

Coin packs and Remove Ads are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the transaction, and we never see your name, card or billing details. The app only checks Apple's confirmation that a purchase was made.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your best score is sent to Apple's Game Center leaderboard, including a best score you set before signing in. The Scores screen loads the worldwide ranking from Game Center, which shows each player's Game Center nickname, profile photo and score, including yours to other players. This comes from Apple and is not stored by us. Apple operates Game Center under its own privacy policy, and you can sign out in Settings → Game Center.

Analytics

Hoopfall contains no analytics SDK of its own. Apart from the advertising data above, we do not collect usage data or build a profile of you.

Third parties

  • Apple — App Store distribution, in-app purchases and Game Center.
  • Google AdMob — advertising, as described above.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

Children's privacy

Hoopfall is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help.

Your rights

We do not hold personal information that identifies you, so there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Your game data stays on your device. For advertising data held by Google, use your iPhone's tracking setting or Google's own privacy controls. If you wish to exercise rights under the GDPR, CCPA or another privacy law, email us and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
